For years, one of the very best regular hotel deals you could find in the UK was from Accor Hotels – the owner of brands like Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure and Ibis. It was called ‘Accor Happy Mondays’ and it was brilliant because it allowed you to book decent city centre hotels for just £25-£40 outside London and £40-£60 in central London. To the sound of much wailing and gnashing of teeth from savvy travellers throughout the land, Happy Mondays finally came to an end earlier this year.

Or so we thought…

A new hope for Accor Happy Mondays fans?

Thanks to the (always enlightening) comments section over at Head for Points, I recently came across this rather interesting looking page on the Accor website:

Seems familiar… but also different somehow. I don’t want to get your (or my) hopes up too much at this stage, but if I had to bet, I’d say that’s a new Accor Happy Mondays promo page – and that would surely mean it might be coming back!!!

If it is coming back, the even better news is that it looks like the rates have stayed the same as before too:

Obviously this is all fairly speculative at this point as there are no dates mentioned in the terms, so I’ve contacted Accor to try and get confirmation. If I hear back before Monday, you’ll be the first to know! Otherwise, try your luck here from 00:00 on Sunday night/Monday morning.
